A good morning note from my dad, a kiss from my dog, smirk from my cat, breakfast from banapple, and a glass of milk- turning tables. It’s all about perception, not waking up from the wrong side of the bed kind of thing.

I used to pray like God was listening.
I used to make my parents proud.
I was the glue that kept my friends together.
Now they don’t talk and we don’t go out.
I used to know the name of every person I’d kissed,
Now I made this bed and I can’t fall asleep in it.
I was so occupied during the week that passed that I was not aware of a tropical storm hitting Mindanao and leaving hundreds of lost life. While I was busy cursing the skies for a little drizzle in Manila, people were saving what they could back at CDO and other nearby area. I can only pray for them, that they may recover from a devastating force of nature. It’s just awful that it had to happen when Christmas is almost here.
